For some time now we have been wanting to plan a fundraiser for a charity we found long ago that not only reflects off the business, but reflects an issue that has hit personally through family. If you have not heard of Special Effect, they are a charity that is transforming the lives of those with physical challenges with new innovative ways to use technology. They are managing to help anyone to be able to game through software such as Eye Gaze, which has multiple free games that can be played with just your eyes! Members of our team have personally used this for EyeMine, which is Minecraft controlled only with your eyes, and the experience is just fascinating to say the least. Special Effect also create low forced joycons, controllers to be used with your chin and much more. We believe that gaming should not be limited to just one specific audience. Giving everyone the oppertunity to enjoy the experience gaming offers is a step I think everyone here is willing to make. How are we going to help? Throughout the month of May, 10% of proceeds from each order made (through the site or through the contact us form) will be donated to Special Effect. We will also create another path for any further donations to be made towards this charity throughout the month.
